We help districts with urban high-poverty schools facing disproportionate suspensions, teacher exodus, and state intervention threats. By training teachers in proactive culturally responsive SEL strategies and the mindfulness practices that help them stay calm, present, and responsive under pressure districts dramatically reduce suspensions, retain more teachers, and eliminate racial disproportionality so that they avoid federal investigations, protect leadership careers, and keep Black and Brown students learning instead of being pushed out.
Because teachers can't co-regulate dysregulated students when they themselves are overwhelmed and reactive—I teach them how to embed culturally responsive SEL practices into everyday learning while staying grounded so they can build relationships proactively, not manage behavior reactively.
District leaders move from managing chaos to shaping a legacy.
